I absolutely, in all of my journalistic integrity, refuse to link share obnoxious posts. However, categorically speaking, I can paint some fairly wide brush-strokes of posts that are in fact, offensive.
These would include:
- Anything that could inevitably be featured on pseudomeaningful.tumblr.com; you are not an artist, and your trite phrasing and poor taste in photography and typography only aggravate those who are accidentally and regrettably exposed to your horseshit.
- Pictures of your visage “out,” especially in nyc; we get it, you have friends, an affinity for alcohol and you live in nyc, you’re probably in brooklyn too! oooh, adventurous.
- Posts related to failed relationships, failing relationships, hypothetical relationships, relationships.
- Animated .gifs that aren’t in fact funny.
- Pictures of food you have eaten recently and/or plan on eating
That’s a good start, I can amend these as I see fit.
